Demo: Moo Store Gallery

A few months ago I had an idea for a new portfolio design. I’ve always liked the smooth gallery in the Apple online store, with thumbnails that zoom to full size, smooth transitions, a great gallery effect.

I was mostly using MooTools at that time and so I sat down for a couple of hours trying to write a MooTools portfolio class based on the gallery from the Apple store. Unfortunately it never made it past the demo stage, I quickly lost interest and went on to other projects.

The demo is available here, a file for download here. There’s no explanation or tutorial and it’s all pretty rough, like demos usually are, but there are comments in the code.
